Lakewood’s residents live in notable Hutsells and Dilbecks nestled among Contemporary new construction.
The area was developed by architects such as Charles Dilbeck and Clifford Hutsell, many of the iconic homes they built are still there today. Lakewood residents prefer the historical architectural styles of Craftsman, Tudors, Spanish, Mediterranean, Ranch homes, and Austin Stones. The homes range from two-bedroom “cottages” to massive estates. There is still a decent amount of duplexes, four-plexes and small apartment complexes as well as new townhomes and condos being built on some of the adjacent areas to Lakewood
